2025 Modelling Day – 32nd January 2025

With our 2025 Modelling Day less than a month away, time for an update.

Mike has been busy fielding enquiries from people wanting to come along and join us and we now have a hall full. Hopefully, this means that Mike can spend the remaining time before the day itself on 1st February stockpiling bacon, bread rolls and cake!

When: 10am to 4pm on Saturday 1st February 2025.

Where: Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, 36 Uttoxeter Road Mickleoever, Derby, DE3 9GE.

Represents a 1950s gypsum mine in the south Notts area (where gypsum is still mined) using hand built 14mm track. Kit and scratch built stock. New at this show is the Bunny Mill area.

Imaginary extension to the W&L in the 1910-1930. Work in progress with track laid and scenery started. DCC operation.

Using part of our old group layout with a new extension, this represents a 1930s style country dairy owned by Express Dairies.

Classic 3-2-2 inglenook shunting puzzle set in an old factory receiving small wagons from another plant across the lane which must not be blocked. Try you hand at completing the task.
